We host our own innovative and exciting series of track and field events throughout the year. These events are very popular with athletes across the North of England and often feature unique knock-out competitions and prize money.

Officiating at City of York AC
Join the City of York AC Officiating team! Love athletics? Want to be part of the action? We’re on the lookout for more friendly faces to help officiate at our events. Our club has a big reputation across the North of England for putting on brilliant competitions – but we couldn’t do it without our amazing officials.
No experience? No problem! We’ll pay for any training you need, guide you every step of the way, and even keep you fuelled with some seriously good refreshments. You’ll be helping athletes, supporting the club, and having a great time along the way.

Annual Presentation Evening
Each year, City of York AC comes together for our much-anticipated Presentation Evening – a special celebration of the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our athletes, teams, and volunteers. It’s a chance to recognise outstanding performances, personal bests and the commitment that keeps our club thriving, both on and off the track. Alongside the awards, the evening is filled with great company, inspiring stories, and plenty of laughter, making it one of the highlights of our club calendar. Whether you’re receiving a trophy, cheering on a teammate, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, it’s a night that captures the very best of our club.
