Volunteering
Volunteer with us!
City of York Athletic Club is a community club run entirely by volunteers, and we are always delighted to welcome new people to get involved.
Whether you can offer a small amount of time occasionally or would like to be more regularly involved, there are lots of ways to support the club. Volunteers play a vital role in helping our sessions run smoothly, supporting our coaches, and creating a positive environment for all athletes.
Getting Started
All volunteers are asked to complete a short self-declaration form before getting involved (click the black box above)
If you are interested in volunteering—whether occasionally or on a more regular basis—we would love to hear from you. Please email us at info@cityofyorkac.com or speak to one of our coaches or committee members.
For regular volunteering roles, the club will support you through the process, including DBS checks, safeguarding training, and club membership (which we will cover). See a summary below of different volunteer options.
