Northern Indoor Open 1 - 22/11/2025

The first of the Northern Indoor open meeting saw 15 york athletes in action.

Standout performances came from Nathaniel Wade who had a storming run in the 150m with a time of 16.83 the fastest U17 and 2nd fastest overall the ages groups U17+. He also won his heat of the 60m (7.38).

Seb Goodridge also in 60m (7.28) 1st in his heat and 3rd overall U20 and 150m (17.25) a win in his heat and finished the 2nd quickest U20 overall. This was his first indoor appearance.

PBs came from more athletes showing their hard work is paying off early in the indoor season, these include:

Ben Foulger in the 60m. Imogen Bind in 60m & Long Jump. Sophia Horsfall-Samb (indoor PB) in the Shot Put. Phoebe Hirst 60m. Jaxson Forshaw in 60m. Liliana Forshaw in both 60m and Shot Put. Murray Barnard debuted in the 60m & 1000m. Ben Vamplew in the

Shot Put. Juliette Macquin-Jones 60m. Jaxon Marshall in 60m & Long Jump (indoor PB). Isaac Ashun in the 150m & debut in the 60m.
