Mark Bolland-Cage came 3^rd in the Vale of York 10k that took place near Shelburn in Elmet on Sunday in a time of 33.43. In the half marathon that was run alongside the 10k Josh Breen ran 1.21.58 and Kevin Hind 1.54.07. I also believe that Simon Bolland-Cage ran 1.15 in the half marathon but he didn’t appear in the results.

Laura Thompson ran 1.25.24 in the Great North Run to place 26^th overall and 2^nd vet 35. Dave Lancaster ran 1.45.45 in the Caernarvon Half Marathon to come 2^nd vet 65, just 22 seconds behind the veteran age group winner.

16 runners from the club did parkrun on Saturday. Jamie Walker came 1^st at Heslington in 16.10 with Wilson Moisey-Smith coming 2^nd at Dalby Forest in 18.56 with Tim Pattison also coming 2^nd at Easingwold in 17.51. There were veteran age group wins for Allan Scott and Jon Blake with a junior age group win for William Keens.
