Cross Country Racing
The Northern Cross Country Relays took place on Saturday at their usual venue of Graves Park in Sheffield. The under 17 women’s team came within 7 seconds of a medal as they came 4th. Beth Lewis ‘won’ the opening leg in a time of 7.32 for the 2.3k leg. This time turned out to be the fastest leg of the race. Lucy Davey dropped two places to 3rd as she ran 8.43 for the 2nd leg. Nina Hopkins then ran 8.59 for the last leg but was passed late on by the runner from Keighley & Cr
